Our Challenge

The key challenge was to design a platform that makes high-quality tutoring accessible without financial barriers. We needed to support live interactive tutoring sessions via whiteboard tools, integrate flexible pricing and scheduling systems, and manage both student and tutor onboarding. The UX had to balance simplicity and trust—reflecting Christian values and mission-driven messaging—while handling diverse subject matter and catering to both academic and test-prep needs.

Solution & Result

We developed a user-friendly platform offering free introductory sessions, flexible “pay what you can” pricing, and powerful collaboration tools—including real-time whiteboard with drawing, annotation, and PDF/image support. Intelligent tutor-student matching simplified onboarding and improved session success rates. The platform includes Grade TV video sessions for in-depth learning and downloadable practice tests across subjects and levels. As a result, GradeGetter built a loyal tutor network, maintained mission-aligned accessibility, and consistently delivered impact for students regardless of financial circumstances.
